Who cares if the Puppeteer doesn’t call himself a puppeteer. Who cares if, at the age of thirty, he still lives with his parents, or that he wears a fake beard in public. He just finished his first puppet play—that’s what matters. Big deal if it’s a mere rewrite of the Certified fable, the Fall of Caducia. He did it in his own style, and he stuck to the facts in the meantime—or did he?
When he discovers a mysterious new myth, one that contradicts all he has been told about what makes a Caducian, he is forced to admit that that ancient story may require a lot more than a retelling.
As the past is reworked, the present follows. The Puppeteer’s whole world is upended: out of nowhere his parents move out, he loses his job at Quality Control, his beard starts malfunctioning, and the guy that wrote that disturbing myth starts contacting him directly—from thousands of years in the past. And that’s just the beginning.
Sheer chaos indeed, and yet, amidst all the mayhem blessings abound! Set on a distant planet at a time period equivalent to our 1,100,000 BC, The Fall of Caducia Volume One begins the Puppeteer’s revelatory odyssey into self discovery as he is prepared to know his true greatness, and how that greatness is to play an integral part in rewriting reality, changing all of Caducia for the better.
